The Lincoln Statue, "Among Friends", was created by reknown Lincoln sculptor John McCleary and was dedicated on Saturday, August 15, 2009. Since it's dedication, many visitors have stopped and enjoyed Abe and having their photo taken with him. Abe donned a black and orange scarf for Homecoming and his Superman mask and cape for Halloween (although vandals spoiled the fun by stealing his costume within minutes of it being put up on Saturday - but that's why we installed security cameras!).

The bronze commemorative plaque with the "Among Friends" story and protective bollards have been installed and the final tiles honoring those who gave have been installed on the stage wall.

Come visit Abe and read the "Among Friends" story. Read why he's facing the stage. Enjoy a quiet moment among your friends as Abe did in Hillsboro many, many years ago.
