Previously known as "So Many Books", the bookstore in Hillsboro opened as "Books & Moore" on July 1, 2007.

Books & Moore is located in the historic Montgomery County News Building on the southwest side of Courthouse Square. The building, built in 1895 by C. W. Bliss, was owned continuously by four generations of the Bliss family of Hillsboro until it's recent sale to Barbara Adams, local attorney, and now the owner of the building and operator of "Books & Moore".

Committed to maintaining a presence on Courthouse Square and to serving the needs of the residents of Hillsboro and the surrounding area, Books & Moore concentrates on children's books, books of local interest and special orders while maintaining a full compliment of best sellers, magazines and several local newspapers.

Books & Moore carries Matt Hughes T-shirts, posters and DVD's. Our Rowe Pottery has arrived and features the Historic Montgomery County Courthouse crock. Also available for historians and genealogists are all of the publications of the Montgomery County Genealogical Society.

The name of the store needs no explanation for those who know the owner!
