It's been one year since our statue of Abe Lincoln was dedicated and the reaction has been incredibly positive (but for a very few youthful critics who have little to no appreciation of history nor do they yet have a vision of the future that's longer than an entry on their facebook page....). On a daily basis people arrive to look, take pictures, pose and enjoy this wonderful addition to our town. Today, three girls were filming him for a choir project of some sort. He stands quietly, taking it all in and blesses us with his presence every day. If you have friends or family coming in to visit, bring them up to be "Among Friends".
